Waddoups Law Personal Injury Attorneys is excited to announce their annual scholarship for students planning to attend school in the fall of 2026 as either pre-law undergraduates or first-year law students. This $1,000 scholarship aims to help cover expenses for students accepted into a school anywhere in the United States.
Eligibility:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
- Be accepted to and attending school as a pre-law undergraduate or entering law school in the fall of 2026.
- Have a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0.
Requirements:
Applicants must submit the following by September 15, 2026:
- A completed resume.
- A 1-3 page typed essay on a topic of their choice related to the area of law they intend to pursue.
- A complete copy of their school transcripts.
- An acceptance letter from a school within the United States.
- Proof of legal residency in the U.S. (e.g., birth certificate, passport, permanent resident card; Social Security cards will not be accepted).
Award:
- The scholarship must be used exclusively for school tuition and related expenses.
- A check for $1,000 will be made payable directly to the award recipient to cover these expenses.
- The recipient is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.
- The scholarship award recipient will be notified of the selection on or about September 28, 2026.
